MBBS & B.Sc Nursing
Entrance Examination Test for the academic session-2011-12 |

|
It is for
general information of all concerned that the Common
Entrance Test for admission of 1ST year
MBBS 1ST year B.Sc Nursing course will be held
on 10th July, 2011 at 2 P.M. to 3-30 P.M.
in Tripura Medical College & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
Memorial Teaching Hospital, Hapania, West Tripura. |

|
A) MBBS:-
|
|
1.
Total Seat : 85 ( 55 Seats are reserved for Tripura
domicile in which Reservation policy of Govt. of
Tripura will be applicable and 30 Seats open for other
States of India and Union Territories where reservation
policy of G.O.I. will be followed.
|
|
2.
The Application Form and the
Information Brochure cum Prospectus (MBBS) will be
available in the office of the Principal in all working
days from 18-06-2011 (11 A.M. to 5 P.M.) on
production of Demand Draft amounting to Rs.2000/- only
(Free prospectus for BPL candidates on production of
authentic document). The Demand
Draft may be drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the “Society
for T.M.C. & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, Hapania”
payable at Agartala. The
Application Form and the Information Brochure cum
Prospectus can also be downloaded from the website of the
College. The College

3.
Eligibility criteria for
appearing the Common Entrance Test :-
a. Candidate
must be a citizen of India.
b. Must
have passed H.S (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from
a recognized board having passed in English and minimum
50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology
(40% for S.C & S.T. Candidates).
c. The
Candidate must have attained 17 years of age (completed)
as on 31-07-2011.

B) B.Sc. Nursing:-
|
|
1.
Total
Seat: 60 (Open) and the Reservation policy of Govt. of
Tripura will be applicable.
|
|
2.
The Application Form and Prospectus will be available
in all working days from 18-06-2011 (11 A.M. to 5
P.M.) in the Office of the Principal, Tripura College
of Nursing, Hapania, West Tripura on production of
Demand Draft amounting Rs.1,500/- to be drawn from any
Nationalized Bank in favour of the “Society for T.M.C.
& Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, Hapania” payable at
Agartala.

3.
The last date for receipt of duly filled in Application
Form along with required documents and Demand Draft by
the office of the Principal, TMC / Principal, TCN is
02-07-2011 up to 5 P.M.

4.
Eligibility
criteria for appearing the Common Entrance Test :-
I) Candidate
must be a citizen of India.
II) Must
have passed H.S (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from
a recognized board & minimum 45% marks taken together
in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (40% for S.C &
S.T. Candidates).
III) The
Candidate must have attained 17 years of age (completed)
and not more than 25 years as on 31-07-2011.

C) Other terms &
Conditions:- |
|
1.
Candidates can opt in the Application Form for both MBBS
and B.Sc Nursing Seat provided he / she fulfils the
eligibility criteria as stated in Sl. No.3 of MBBS in A.
|
|
2. The cost
of prospectus once paid will not be refundable.
|
|
3. Detailed
information will be available in the Prospectus.
|
|
4. The
Authority shall not be held responsible for any postal
delay under any situation.
|
|
5. The list
of eligible candidates for appearing entrance examination
will be displayed in the website of the college.
|
|
6. The last
date for receipt of duly filled in Application Form along
with required documents and Demand Draft by the office of
the Principal, TMC is 02-07-2011 up to 5 P.M.
|
|
7. Admit
Card may be collected by the candidate in all working days
from the office of the Principal, TMC / TCN from
04-07-2011 to 07-07-2011(10 A.M. to 5 P.M.). The Admit
Card may also be downloaded from the College website but
the same shall be submitted to the office of the Principal
personally for obtaining signature on or before
07-07-2011 up to 5 P.M.

8. The
result of written test will be published in college Notice
Board and in website on 14-07-2011 after 4 P.M.
|
|
9. Candidate
who already availed Tripura Govt. Quota through TBJEE will
not be permitted for admission without production of
surrender certificate issued by the competent authority.
|
|
10. Date of
admission from 1st Merit list of common entrance
examination will be commenced from 18th to 22nd July,
2011 and from waiting merit list, if any resultant
vacancy arises, from 25th to 30th July, 2011.
|
|
11.
Allotment of hostel for admitted MBBS students will be
done at the time of admission.
|
|
12. Stay in
hostel is compulsory for MBBS Students.
|
|
13.
Commencement of class for MBBS: 1ST August, 2011.
|
|
14.
Commencement of class for B.Sc Nursing : 1ST September,
2011. |
