I welcome you all on behalf of our Faculties, Doctors and Staff of Tripura Medical College and Dr, B, R, A Memorial Teaching Hospital. An unique premier institution like us providing excellent clinical education and scientific research training to our students since inception under the guidance of Society and BRAM Teaching Hospital. Traditionally education, clinical care, community services and research have been the corner stone of our mission. We promised to build up an unique hospital services in our institute in order so that all classes of people of Tripura can avail the updated health facilities. We have one 500 bedded general hospital facilitated with all modern equipments and that are the excellent sources of clinical materials for clinical training of the students. Our students learn from very talented, renowned and successful Physician and basic science faculty and physician assistant in an environment of cutting edge clinical practice; scientific discovery and scholarly activity. We have eight number of Operation Theatres, ICU, NICU, PICU, PISU, Causality and diagnostic facilities along with 24 hrs ambulance services in addition to other normal hospital facilities. We also have special clinics like Asthma clinic, Child Guidance and Rehabilitation clinic, immunization clinic speech therapy and programs like “Smile Training” etc. We are proud of our tradition of training excellent primary care physicians and consultants. Today there is great opportunity to understand and cure diseases and it is within the context of these limitless possibilities we seek to educate the physicians and scientists for a new millennium. I believe in a quotation, “A chance to cut is a chance to cure”. Students who join our college are eligible to complete their U.G. Course (100 annual intake) and can also join the various postgraduate degree and diploma courses in near future. “ Vitally important for a young man or woman is, first, to realize the value of education and then to cultivate earnestly, aggressively, ceaselessly, the habit of self-education”.

In this age of information technology, there can be no substitute for a website for providing comprehensive information about an academic institution and a hospital. In this regard, this website will prove very useful for the students, guardians, members of the Alma mater, faculty members and the community as a whole. The academic atmosphere of the institution will also get a boost through the interactive dialogue between the faculty members of this institution and the other colleagues of the medical fraternity across the glove.
